I'm back from the US and armed with kits, stamps, beads, jump rings, and everything else necessary to make some dog tags.
To practice, I made these 4 tags for my own dogs. I blurred out some of the phone digits just because I'm not sure Sriram wants his number for all the world to see.
Considering I'm a novice, I think they turned out quite well.
That said, I want to tape (and therefore laminate) a piece of paper on the back of each tag that reads in Tamil "$ REWARD IF I'M RETURNED HOME" or something like that. I'm hoping this deters people from stealing the collar and tag.
Next step is contacting the animal rights groups here in Chennai.
